Meredosia Bridge

This multi-year project began with earthwork and demolition of multiple existing buildings, followed by new bridge construction to carry IL 104 over the Illinois River. The project also entails new construction of a pump station, HMA paving and construction of other bridge substructures and superstructures.

An overview of the variety of trade work Halverson Construction provided: tree removal and earth excavation; furnished excavation, topsoil replacement and acreage seeding; construction of an erosion barrier, mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, stone riprap; cofferdam excavation; concrete structures and superstructures; furnishing and erecting structural steel; furnishing and driving metal shell piles and steel piles; and storm sewers installation.
