Murray Baker Bridge
As a subcontractor to United Contractors Midwest (UCM), Halverson Construction was responsible for removal and replacement of the North approach spans to the Murray Baker Bridge carrying Interstate 74 over the Illinois River in Peoria, Illinois.
The project also included rehab of the truss spans; replacement of 16 truss pins; replacement of a truss bearing; and complete removal and shoring of 180 ft. of the truss span to accommodate the construction of reconfigured on/off ramps to Interstate 74.
